Donald Kenneth Bernard Sullivan
80, of Glen Haven passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018 in the QEII Health Sciences Center, Halifax. Born in Halifax he was the son of the late Richard and Maude (Smiley) Sullivan. Don was surviving member of his family. Survived by his wife Margaret L. (Grove); sons, Stephen, Halifax; Glen (Jana), Mount Pearl, NL; David, Glen Haven; grandchildren, Ashley, Jillian, Jack and Georgia. Predeceased by his first wife, Shirley Grint; brothers, Edward, Harold, George, Patrick, Tom; sisters, Helen, Susan, Maureen, Rose, Camilla and Geraldine. Donald was a dedicated and faithful member of AA for 51 years and also a member of White Caps. He volunteered at Camp Hill Veterans Memorial Building, QEII. After retirement he worked partime at the Sou'Wester in Peggy's Cove. He enjoyed playing hockey, ball, cards and spending time in his vegetable garden. Don was a caretaker of St. Margaret’s of Scotland Roman Catholic Church for a number of years. The family will receive visitors 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 26 in the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy’s Cove Road, Upper Tantallon. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, September 27 in St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Parish, 18 Scholars Rd, Upper Tantallon.
