I just heard about your Mom’s passing and I am sorry to have missed the service. Your Mom always welcomed me and half the neighbourhood into her home. She had the patience of a saint and the voice of an angel. Edna was such a unique and special soul and I know you will all miss her so much. May her zest for life live on in each of you.

on reading of her many talents , interests , activities , and experiences of her personal career ...... and those other efforts and successes Edna achieved .... as she cared for , and raised her own children .... it became clearer for me the great impact Edna had for all of us who met her , worked with her , or merely got to know her a little , throughout her life ....
Edna always made a difference for those who had a chance to meet her ....
Edna will be missed ...... but not forgotten ...
and Edna's spirit will always be present in the twinkle of the eyes ... or width of the grins .... of those who knew her ....
where ever there is some laughter , or some fun to be enjoyed ....

Condolence: My sympathy to Edna's family, including Nancy and Patricia whom I remember from school in Fall River, NS. I was delighted to have known the Farnell Sisters, such fine singers. At the time of my high school graduation, Edna sent me a note to congratulate me on my academic awards. I found that a sweet and caring gesture. I still have the note in one of my albums.

I sorta think my father delivered milk to your family in Grand Lake - I remember him showing us where you lived - Up a hill - if I remember right - that angled off the main road. so long ago.
