Alan William “Bubba” Boutilier
61, of Hackett’s Cove, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at home. Born in Halifax he was the son of Geraldine (Trueman) Boutilier, Hackett’s Cove and the late Ray Boutilier. Alan worked as a fisherman for over 40 years. He was an active outdoorsman, hunting, fishing, ATV’ing and enjoying many hours listening to Q104. He was also a devoted Boston Bruins fans and he was also known as a ladies man. Besides his mother he is survived by his daughter, Janet (Mike), Indian Harbour; brothers, Floyd (Irva), Kenton, David and Peter (Wanda). Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday January 25th in St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Hackett’s Cove. Rev. Andrew Cooke officiating.
