77, of Seabright, passed away on January 28, 2020 in the QEII Health Sciences Center, Halifax. Born in Halifax she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Margaret (Murphy) Benight. Survived by her sons Glen “Skip” (Marie), Boutilier’s Point; Mark (Sarah), Alberta; Scott (Jacqueline), Hackett’s Cove; daughter, Kathy (Bob) Battiste, Stewiacke; brother, Percy (Linda), Halifax; Jordie, Timberlea; sister, Doreen, Seabright; grandchildren, Kristen, Shelden, Miranda, Jack and expecting one great grandson and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother, Roy, Danny and sister, Grace. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the S.P.C.A. or the Speech and Hearing Association of Nova Scotia.
