I am just recently learning of Barbs passing. I work at Northwood and was lucky to know Barb.
Were you ever right about Barb and her love of weather. She loved to tell me about storms!
Barb was absolutely hilarious, but also so sweet.
She will be remembered.

Aunt Barbs door was always open and you were guaranteed a big hug upon arrival. I use to look forward to her and uncle Melvin's trips to Cape Breton to see us and long after Uncle Melvin passed we enjoyed visits to Seabright to visit. You will be missed.. Heather (Mailman) Parsons

Our visits were few and far between being so far apart but they were filled with so many wonderful memories. We made a 3 sisters trip to surprise nan years ago and it is a trip I will cherish forever. We spent days going through photo albums and she shared so many stories with us. We were so excited the one afternoon to finally learn Nan’s recipe for nanny bars (Nanaimo bars) and we were completely shocked to find out it came from a box mix! We got to check out the donair shop dad loved and had our first taste of brother’s pepperoni which we luckily had an extra duffel bag to pack full of it to bring it home with us! Nanny bars will forever be a staple in this family and we will always save room for dessert!
