Obituary for Robert Wilson "Robbie" Jollimore

Robert Wilson Jollimore “Robbie”
65, Simms Settlement, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, brother, uncle and son on Monday, June 4, 2018 in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Halifax he was the son of Helen L. (Graves) Young, Simms Settlement and the late Wilson Jollymore. Robbie lived his life by the sea. Working in the fishing industry most of his life, and when the sun was shining he could be found at the beach, beer in hand. Back in the day, he spent his Saturday nights dancing up a storm at the shore club. Robbie was extremely generous and loving. Had a sense of humour like no other. He could make you laugh, like a real belly laugh on your worst day. He will be missed by all. Besides his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Jodi (Jeremy MacPhee) Jollimore, Rawdon; son, Darrell (Cathy Slaunwhite) Jollimore, Hubbards; grandchildren, Darian Smith, Kelsey and Seth; brothers, Lloyd (Joey), Simms Settlement; Wilson (Karen), Michael (Wendy), both of Mill Cove; sister, Debbie Harlow, Hubbards, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Reginald and Donald. The family will receive visitors 6-8 p.m. Friday June 8th in the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards, A family burial will take place in St. James Anglican Church Cemetery. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date. A special thank you to the Hants Community and Valley Regional Hospital. Online condolences can be made to www.rawalker.ca.
