69, of Hammonds Plains passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019. Born in Halifax he was the son of the late Douglas and Molly (Jollymore) Harnish. Brent worked at the Halifax Dockyards as a longshoreman for over 40 years. Survived by his spouse, Rose; brothers, Raymond (Lynda) Harnish, Timberlea; Lee (Sheila) Harnish, Halifax; Frank (Gertie “Peanut”) Harnish, Maine, USA; Winston Harnish, Mill Cove; Wade (Darlene) Harnish, Birchy Head; Jack (Glenda) Harnish, Mill Cove. Predeceased by his first wife, Wanda; sisters, Beverly Loane and Jean Keeping. The family will receive visitors 6-9 Thursday May 9th in the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. A funeral service will be held 11 am Friday May 10th in St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Hubbards. In lieu flowers donations can be made to charity of choice.
