Obituary for Connie Fay Fleet

Connie Fay Fleet

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Connie Fay Fleet, 67, of St. Margaret’s Bay. Connie passed in peace at the QEII on Saturday, October 7, 2023. She had been a resident of Parkstone Enhanced Care since 2014.

Born May 12, 1956 to David and Hilda Fredericks, she was predeceased by her Mother and Father; her infant brother, Bruce (Brucie) and her brother David (Bucky), Boutilier’s Point. She is survived by her husband, Frederick (Freddy); son, Gary, St. Margaret’s Bay; daughter, Mandy (Cody), Enfield; sisters, Debbie (Orville) Smith, Tantallon; Judith (Judie), and brother, Douglas (Dougie), Five Islands.

Connie was cherished and her memory will be held lovingly by her family and those she called friends. She is remembered foremost for her unconditional love of family, her generous heart and sense of humor. Her life was not without struggles and adversities, but she faced them with strength, acceptance and hope. Above all she wished for peace within her family and those close to her. She will be missed and remembered dearly by all whose lives she touched throughout her time here on earth. Rest in peace and fly with the angels and your beloved ones in heaven knowing your memory will be kept alive here on earth.

We acknowledge on her behalf, all who contributed to her care and support throughout the years, especially the considerate staff at Parkstone, Garden Court wing, and the caring and compassionate doctors, nurses and staff at QEII who attended to her in her final days.

Cremation has taken place and, in keeping with Connie’s wishes, a private family service may be held later. Donations would be welcome to St. James Anglican Church, Boutilier’s Point, Cancer Research, or a charity of your choice. Condolences and memories are welcome on the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home website, www.rawalker.ca who we thank them for their support during our time of grief.
