Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Daniel Dorey can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: We just heard of Danny's passing. Our sincerest condolences to all the family. Danny was a special person who served his community well. Lionel enjoyed the couple years he helped Danny with the lobsters, and I remember seeing him always in Church and at the PO. He will be fondly remembered and missed by all.

Condolence From: Melissa Yue (granddaughter)
Condolence: I will remember him shaving at the kitchen sink each morning while whistling/humming or full out singing. I will also remember him serving you the perfectly cooked egg before you even knew you wanted one. Great memories in that kitchen! Outdoors, I remember the gardening and him teaching me to pick beans and the importance of saving every scrap piece of wood because you'll never know when you'll need it. And if you fill up the shed with scrap wood... that you have to build another shed out of the scraps so that you won't run out of room for the next time. He also knew how to take joy in the little things... like laying/playing with the dogs on the grass, carving pumpkins, and putting pressured cans into the fire.

I'm going to try to forget about the earwigs...
