The family are forever thankful for the loving care and support from nurse Katie at the VG Palliative Care Unit. Ensuring us the passing journey was as peaceful as it was. To his doctor Shawna Herman for the wonder care over the years. Special thanks to Marsha and Marie for all the great care and being with him.

Over the years Dad worked at the old Marriotts garage, it was home away from home. Dad retired from the Dept of National Defense after 33 years as a carpenter. Over the years, he had the honor to meet the Queen, the Queens mother, Pierre Trudeau and Gerald Regan. Before Dads retirement, he brought farm land-Man, it was a lot of work but lots of fun at the same time. After selling the farm, Dad would always build a camp in different areas for his enjoyments of fishing and hurting. As kids grown up, Dad taught us how to drive, cook on an open fire, build buggies and even how to shoot a gun. Dad would always have a summer thing planned for us either we were building a log cabin, row boats or camping in Cape Breton and we always had to stop for a feed of lobsters. Dad was always willing to help or just be there for his family and friends. He enjoyed company from his family and friends. We, all will truly miss your stories, singing and whistling!

Cremation has been taken place. Due to Covid 19, there will be a Celebration of Life and burial at a later date.
