90, of Tantallon, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023 in the QEII Health Sciences Center, Halifax. Born in Tantallon on October 27, 1932.
Don was faithful member of the Tantallon Seventh-day Adventist Church serving on many committees and as church Deacon. He Loved to travel by car, humming a tune while travelling. He made several trips to Florida and across Canada and the United States. He enjoyed playing musical instruments such as his guitar or banjo and was always ready to play UNO.
Survived by his sister, Lois; predeceased by his wife Esther (Hubley); sister, Marion; brothers, Eddy, Vernon, and Lawrence.
The family will receive visitors 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, January 11 in the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy’s Cove Road, Upper Tantallon. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in the Tantallon Seventh-day Adventist Church, 12494 Peggy’s Cove Rd., Tantallon.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Gospel Outreach or charity of choice.
