Donny, Jackie, Billy and Beverly; I am sorry to hear about the loss. Dottie was one of the mothers who always had her door open to the kids on Redmonds Road. I remember fried baloney for lunch and bringing back bread for her from Covey's store after school with Beverly. How wonderful that Dottie was able to stay in her house so long- that must have meant a lot to her. Condolences from Tina Jannasch

Don, Jackie, Beverly and Billy: I am sorry to hear so late about your mother's passing. It was a fine picture of her you posted. I remember Dottie as a kind person; one who agreed to take a young kid to PEI when I must have been a terrible nuisance. She could be firm, too, like when boys were up to some mischief or another. I told mum about her passing, and after a few moments she smiled and said, " I remember when I last visited her. I walked over one afternoon and Dot was there, too. We had a cup of tea and a lovely visit." In late years, Dottie always sent Mum a Christmas card signed "your old neighbor ....". Good neighbours do that.

With deepest sympathies,
Rupert Jannasch
