Douglas Steven Christopher
69, of Beaverbank. He was the son of the late Kenneth and Lillian (Lambert) Christopher; stepson, of the late Walter Malcolm.
He is survived by his siblings, brother, Peter (Barb) Christopher, Meagher Grant; sisters, Jean (Harden) Weisner, Chester; Patty (Les) Rennie, Simms Settlement; Kathy (Doug Smith), Mount Uniacke; sister-in-law, Gladys (Ken) Christopher; also, many nieces and nephews, great nieces, and nephews and 5 great great nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he is predeceased by brothers, Eddie, Kenny, Bill and Jim; nephew, Chris Simms; nieces, Karen Christopher, Lee Anne Christopher and Most recently great niece, Morgan Harnish.
Special thank you to the wonderful and caring staff where Doug lived his last year and half in a home run by “Arden Independent Living” in Beaverbank. Special kudos to Lisa Marie and Shauna who both advocated for Doug to make his last days better. True Angels on Earth! His remains will be cremated and will be laid to rest with is Dad, Uncle and brothers in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at a later date.
