79, of Glen Haven passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022 in QEII health Sciences Center, Halifax. Born in Halifax he was the son of the late Roland and Sylvia (Dauphinee) Smith. Frank was the 1st Vice President of Loyal Seabright Juvenile Lodge #9982 and he became Provincial Grand Master in 1972 of the Acadia District then he moved onto District Financial Secretary until the district closed. He also received Meritorious Service Jewel for all his acts of fellowship. Frank was the treasurer of the 50 + Seniors Club in Head of St. Margaret’s Bay. Survived by his brother, Owen (Linda), Glen Haven; sister, Nora Picard, Bedford; Elsie (Wayne) Manuel, Glen Haven; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother, Gordon; sister, Hilda; brother-in-laws, George Olive and J.P. Picard; sister-in-law, Isabel. A graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
