82, of Timberlea passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022 in the QEII Health Sciences Center, Halifax.
Born in Halifax she was the daughter of the late Margaret (Hirtle) Smith and step-father, George William Smith.
Survived by her husband, James “Ben”; sons, James (Kim), Seabright; Gregory (Jacqueline), New Ross; Darrell, Alberta; daughters, Krista (Glen) Canning, Toronto, ONT.; Denine (Steve White) Ettinger. Tantallon; six grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her son, Shawn and sister, Carole Boutilier.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2022 with reception to follow in the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy’s Cove Road, Upper Tantallon. Burial will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, December 22nd in the Fairview Cemetery, 3720 Windsor Road, Halifax.
