77, of Queensland passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, June 14, 2019 in the QEII Health Sciences Center, Halifax. Born in Queensland he was the son of the late Carl and Vivian (Graves) Snair. Harvey was a very kind man. A machinist by trade and was retired from the Halifax Shipyard. Survived by his wife, Joan; son, Harvey (Melissa), Shediac, New Brunswick; daughters, Tammy Vogt (Murray Newton), Halifax; Angela, Queensland; brothers, David (Bonnie); Neil (Helen); Bruce (Jodi); sister, Virginia (Doug) Purchase; grandchildren, Matthew, Breana, Emily and Hannah; and many wonderful nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews. Predeceased by brothers, Clement and James. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, June 23rd in the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy’s Cove Road, Upper Tantallon.
