Helen Lois Young
86, of Simms Settlement, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022 in Harbourview Haven Nursing Home, Lunenburg. She was daughter of the late Reginald and Annie (Dorey) Graves. Helen loved her animals especially her fur babies, Charlie, Maggie and Taco. She enjoyed dancing and was an avid Bingo player. Survived by her common law Spouse, Bruce Thomas and her former husband, Stewart; sons, Lloyd (Joey) Simms Settlement; Wilson (Karen), Michael, both of Mill Cove; daughter, Debbie Harlow, Chester; grandchildren, Darrell, Jodi-Ann, Mark, Ben, Nicole, Chad, Crystal, Jeremy, Justin, Logan, Landan, Jessey, Jillian; sisters, Brenda, Chester; Lorraine, Halifax; Predeceased by her first husband Wilson Jollimore; sons, Reginald, Donald and Robert. The family will receive visitors 7-9 pm Tuesday August 2nd in the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. A graveside service will be held 11 am Wednesday August 3 in St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, Fox Point. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to S.H.A.I.D. Animal Shelter.
