88, of Hubbards, Our loving mother passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 in Shoreham Village, Chester. She was the daughter of the late George and Ada (Jennings) Awalt, Bayswater. Idella enjoyed laughter with friends, Bingo, Old time country music, knitting, embroidering, quilting and singing while strumming her acoustic guitar in her younger years. Survived by her daughter, Gloria (Vernon) Graves, Simms Settlement; sons, Barry (Lynn), Calgary, AB; Paul (Fern), Lavoy, AB; Dennis, Halifax; brother, Gordon (Mable) Awalt, Blandford; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her ex -husband, Granville G. Cleveland; brother, Leo Awalt, Lapean Awalt; daughter, Carolyn Paris and her former partner and love of her life Anton“Tony” Medynski, Lavoy. As per Idella’s wishes there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 in St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Hubbards. Burial will take place in late June, date will be announced. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the All Saints Anglican Church Cemetery Fund, Bayswater.
