78, of Hammonds Plains passed away suddenly on Sunday April 29, 2018 in the QEII Health Sciences Center, Halifax. Born in Halifax she was the daughter of the late Harry and Gertrude (Nieforth) Elop. Inez was known for her quick wit, her kindness and compassion for others and her love for her pets and gardening. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend and will be dearly missed. Survived by her sons, Dan (Tammy Morash), Middle Sackville; David, Hammonds Plains; daughter, Dr. Sherry Smith (Scott Quigley), Dunnville, ONT.; brother, Gordon Elop, Hamilton, ONT; grandson, Alexander; many nephews and nieces. Predeceased by her husband Reginald; sisters, Joyce, Eileen and Jean. The family will receive visitors 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, May 2nd in the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy’s Cove Road, Upper Tantallon. Funeral service 2 p.m. Thursday, May 3 in St. Nicholas Anglican Church, 29 Westwood Blvd, Upper Tantallon. Rev. Tammy Hodge officiating, assisted by Rev. Randy Townsend. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to charity of choice. Online condolences can be made to www.rawalker.ca
