I am very sorry to be reading this. I am Irene's niece, the middle daughter of Carol. I did not grow up knowing my cousins but I do know the sorrow of losing our parents. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

I met Mrs. Greenough 31 years ago when i moved here from NL, she treated me and my children as if we were her family, i had 4 wonderful years spending time with her and Mr. Greenough, i will always remember her kindness and her love she had for all her family. I sincere condolences to all the family.

I was fortunate to have a grandmother at the age of 38, I will remember the memories we had but my most recent visits with you will always be my most cherished, I was able to stop every morning for tea and breakfast with you and this is the time I am most thankful for, I was able to be with you until you took your last breath on that beautiful day, you commented on the weather talked about family and in the blink of an eye you where gone. You are no longer in pain and are resting easy with your son and husband who I am sure are so happy to see you again.

Sending you deepest sympathies . Irene and Mom were good friends in my younger life as Joanne and I were friends💕. Lots of Brownie outings and shared birthdays with Joanne. Irene, always stopped to chat at grocery store or wherever she saw you. Thinking of you all. 💕
