Ivan Lee Brenton
Age 81, passed away on August 1, 2019 in Northwood Ivany, Bedford. Born in Halifax, he was the youngest son of Ivan Lee Brenton Sr. and Ella May (Innis) Brenton. In his earlier years, Ivan enjoyed his summers at Queensland. He worked for a short time in Boston, returning to Halifax to work in sales and service for Gestetner (Canada) Ltd., Ganong Bros., and Don Brenton's Fire Protection. Ivan is survived by his son, Darren Brenton (Jennifer Slaunwhite), Lewis Lake; sister, Lois Brenton (Boston); sister-in-law, Gerry Brenton, Halifax; nephews, Rod Brenton (Denise), Ron Brenton (Lorraine); niece, Susan Crooks (Rick); and former wife, Heather MacLeod. Predeceased by brothers, Don Brenton and Ralph Brenton; sister-in-law, Marjorie Brenton; and niece, Lynn (Brenton Haynes) Williston. Cremation has taken place.
