Passed away peaceably at the age of 87 in Perley and Rideau Veterans' Health Facility in Ottawa on Sunday, August 1, 2021. A daughter of Michael and Jeanne Beatrice Andrews of Halifax, Jalna was predeceased by her husband, Eric (1972). Survived by sons, Lon (Anne Louise) and Kerry (Dorothy); and grandson, James (Danielle); granddaughter, Kathryn; and great-grandsons, Eric and Noah. Survived by her sister, Marguerite (Clarence) Kelly of Halifax; and a number of nieces and nephews. Jalna was predeceased by her brothers, Michael (Gwen) (of Hubbards-Chester Basin) and Vernon (of Halifax). Jalna "Bubs" worked for many years in food service at the QEII Hospital in Halifax and loved to dance and play bingo. She will be missed greatly. A special thank you to the staff at the Perley for their great care.
