Jeanette, 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 26,2022 at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Fiercely independent she remained in her home in Black Point right up to the hour before her passing surrounded by her friends and family of the heart. Born in Halifax she was the daughter of the late Doug and Queenie Boutilier. She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred July 15, 1979, and her dear son Vaughn November 2, 2020 whom she had cared for tirelessly. Jeanette was a supervisor at the telephone company and received a long service award for 25 years as a volunteer with the Black Point and District Fire Department Auxiliary as well as filling many other roles in the community. Although a private person, her door and heart were always open to her friends and those in need. Jeanette lived a long full life and touched the lives of so many during that time. She will be remembered by all who met her and deeply missed by those who loved her. A graveside service will be held 11 AM Friday, August 5 in St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, Black Point.
