Joan Snair
Age 68, of Queensland passed on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at the QEII Health Sciences Center, Halifax. Surrounded by her loving family. Born in Halifax she was the daughter of the late Harold & Mary Dunlop (MacLeod). She was very kind the best Mom ever. She would help anyone in need . She taught and ran the Sunday school at St Johns Anglican Church. She was a Royal Canadian legion member, Branch 44, It was important to her to attend Remembrance Day ceremonies dressed proudly in her uniform in honour of those who fought bravely especially her father. For many years she worked in real estate with Century 21. The past 12 years she worked with stock Transportation Ltd in the Sir John A family of schools. For 11 years she drove a 78 seat passenger bus. Six months driving a special needs bus, then her last 6 months as a monitor for children with special needs. Survived by her son, Harvey (Melissa), Shediac, New Brunswick; daughters, Tammy Vogt (Murray Newton), Halifax; Angela, Queensland; grandchildren, Matthew, Breana, Emily and Hannah; sisters Mary Burns, Esther Snair and Margie MacLeod; and many wonderful nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her parents her brothers, Dawson and Harold; and husband, Harvey. Funeral service will be held 6 p.m. Sunday, July 7th in the Ronald A.
