Joaquim ( Jack ) Leitao
It is with great sadness to say Jack passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023
He was the only son of Joao & Januaria Leitao.
Jack was a kind and generous person to all, He worked as a civil engineer all his career in the Halifax area, he also was the originating founder of the Portuguese Association, Jack will be sadly missed by all.
Survived by his wife Palmira (Nita); Son, Philip (Shelly) Leitao, Halifax; daughter, Clara (Richard) Marriott, Hd. Of St. Margaret’s Bay; grandchildren Kailyn, Kelsey, Koben & Rylan. Predeceased by his grandchild, Chad.
The family will receive visitors 2-4 p.m. Monday, March 13th in the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy’s Cove Road, Upper Tantallon. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Online condolences can be made to www.rawalker.ca
