82, of Aspotogan passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 2, 2019 in Shoreham Village, Chester surrounded by his family. Born in Blandford he was the son of the late Lloyd and Florence (Young) Clark. John worked on the oil tankers travelling from Central America to Halifax. He retired as a Heavy equipment Mechanic from the N.S. Department of Transportation. John enjoyed 4 wheeling, taking day trips with his wife Thelma and spending time with his family and friends. Survived by his wife Thelma (Boutilier); daughters, Karen (Jim), Wendy (Hughie); sister, Edna (Paul); brother, George (Jamie); grandchildren, Mark, Yvonne (Shaun); great grandchildren, Alexa and Rylie. Predeceased by brothers, Keith and Lyle. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday April 5th in All Saints Anglican Church, Bayswater. Rev. Louis Quennelle officiating.
