Age 69, of Timberlea passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday, December 29, 2018 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Cornelius (Nick) and Venita (King) Power. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Judy loved spending time at the cottage surrounded by family and friends, crocheting, bingo, traveling (especially cruises), and in her earlier years doing ceramics and dancing. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Bruce; her children, Roy and Scott (Lisa); grandchildren, Laura, Jenna, and Olivia; brothers, Billy (Sylivia), Ivan (Ada), Alan (Cathy); sisters, Marie (Gary) Myra, Eileen (Dave) Dandy; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Patsy, Cathy and brother Paul. Visitation will be held 4-7 p.m. Friday, January 4th; funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 5th both in the Ronald A Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy’s Cove Road, Upper Tantallon.
