67, of Halifax passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019 in the QEII Health Sciences Center, Halifax. Born in Halifax she was the daughter of the late Kenneth D. and Florence E (Burns) Macaulay.
Survived by her husband Donald; sons, Matthew (Ashley Morris), Halifax; Donnie (Donna), Calgary; daughter, Keri (Rick Macaulay), Halifax; Denise Cavanaugh (Troy), Truro; brothers, Ronnie (Donna Strong) Macaulay, Halifax; Donnie (Peggy) Macaulay, Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta; Bobby Macaulay, Halifax; Gary Macaulay, Boutiliers Point; Alan Macaulay, St. John’s, NFLD; David Macaulay (Kim Snair), Queensland; sisters, Judy (Robert) Butler, Black Point; Cheryl (Mike) DeGiano, Deep Cove; Donna (Peter) Grant, Hubbards; Janice (Steven Millett) Campbell, Chester Basin; grandchildren, Claire Macaulay, Gryffin Foley-Morris, Gracie Foley-Morris, Brendan Macaulay, Myles Foley Morris, Tanner Foley, Toni Lynn Foley, Colby, Patrick and Lucas Cavanaugh; great grandchildren, Vaughner, Holly, Cayden, Carlee and Keaton. Besides her parents she is predeceased by her sister, Diane Macaulay and several members of her extended family.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 28th in the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy’s Cove Road, Upper Tantallon. A special thank you to Dr. Gallagher and Dr. Drucker for their care and kindness. Also thanks to the remarkable staff at the V.G. Palliative Care Unit from the nursing staff to housekeeping and volunteers your compassion and care will never be forgotten. To Linda’s special niece and friend, Karen Beer, thank you for being there for Linda. She always was excited for your visits and outings.
