69 of Beaverbank, passed peacefully on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, in the QEII Health Sciences Center. Born in Halifax she was the daughter of the late Richard and Patricia “Patsy” Blackburn. Marilyn loved singing, bowling, lobster and adored her grandchildren. Survived by her sons, Christopher; Dennis (Norine Hancock) Blackburn; daughter, Caryla (Peter Sonier); grandchildren, Harper Sonier and Noah Blackburn; sister, Ann (Jeff) Crossman; brothers, Dickie Blackburn and Johnny Blackburn. A private family service will be held in Lower Prospect at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to santasforseniors1@gmail.com.
