Marion Elizabeth Coolen
90, of Simms Settlement, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Upper Tantallon she was the daughter of the late Jane (Boutilier) Chandler. Survived by her brother, Edgel (Sylvia) Chandler, Tantallon; sister, Meta (Fernand) Frenette, Porters Lake; grandchildren, Jim (Alana Lojek), Hubbards; Gary, Bedford; Rob, Yellowknife; Don, Edmonton; great grandchildren, Mikayla, Maya, Kianna-Leigh. Predeceased by her husband , Harry; son, Gary; daughter, Sherry; brothers, Wesley Chandler, Clyde Chandler, Herbert Chandler; sisters, Uzena Ashe, Beatrice Heuther, Muriel Rondeau, Elma Desbarres, Anna Doubleday. The family will receive visitors, 4-7 p.m. Friday November 23 in the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy’s Cove Road, Upper Tantallon. Funeral Service 11 am Saturday November 24 in St. Lukes Anglican Church, Hubbards. Burial to follow in St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, Fox Point.
