Morton Russell Thompson
71, of Boutiliers Point, it is with great sadness for us to announce the passing of our loving Husband, Father and Papa, Morton Thompson. Born in Tantallon he was the son of the late James and Ruth (Mason) Thompson.
Morton is survived by his wife of 47 years Elizabeth (Shaw); daughters, Josephine, Cindy (Scott) and Rachel; grandchildren, Isabel, Brandon, Kylee and Jax and his very special great grandson, Nathan; sisters, Donna (David) Randall and Isabel (Keith) Dauphinee; best friend, Steven Condy since childhood.
Morton was an Electrician for the City of Halifax until his retirement in 2008. Morton was a family man and family always came first. He enjoyed watching baseball, especially when the Blue Jays were playing. Morton was also an avid reader and loved all animals.
We would like to thank the staff of 7.3 for the wonderful care and support they gave mort during his stay at the QEII.
We were all so lucky to have him and he will be greatly missed. Morton leaves behind great memories for us to cherish.
The family will receive visitors at the family home saturday august 17th 2019 between 1pm-4pm.
