Peter Alfred Yeoman
age 61, of Head of St. Margaret’s Bay passed away peacefully at the QE II Hospital on September 24th 2019. He was the son of the late Alfred and Joyce (Baker) Yeoman. He is lived on through his wife of 36 years, Sandra (MacDonald); Daughter, Jackie (Fionn Mitchell), Michelle Lamontagne and Grandson, Frankie Yeoman. Loving Father to the late Michael Yeoman. Peter grew up in Brossard, Quebec.
He started his career in the container industry working for ACL at the Port of Montreal. In the early 80’s he moved to Halifax with Sandra when Ceres Container Terminal opened. This is where he started his family and his company P.A. Yeoman Marine Services Inc.
Peter enjoyed a challenge and always had an eye for adventure. This followed him in both his business and hobbies. He was quick to gather friends, family and colleagues to participate in all of his endeavors whether it be on land, water or in the sky. He has left so many of us with memories and wonderful stories of boating on the bay, waterskiing with the kids, shark fishing, hydroplane racing, legend car racing, hunting weekends and infinite hours of hockey practice, games and tournaments which he loved sharing with Mike.
A Celebration of Life for Peter will be held at Shining Waters Marine, 148 Nautical Way, Tantallon, N.S. on Saturday October 5th from 1-4pm. Please join us to share stories and remember a life lived to the fullest.
A private cremation has taken place.
We would like to acknowledge and thank the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at the QEII Hospital for their compassion and kindness during this time. In lieu of flowers we would appreciate a donation to the QEII Hospital be made in Peter’s memory.

So sorry to hear the passing of Peter, I only found out last night or I would have never missed his service, I had the pleasure of working for Peter and Sandra for several years as dispatcher starting at the Ceres Terminal then to Harrietsfield, they were the best bosses a girl for ask for, I will always remember Peter for his kindness, generosity and always there to help in any which way he could, my deepest condolences to Sandra and family.

So sorry to hear of Peter's passing, my condolences to the family. I did not know Peter well, but had the pleasure of serving him a beverage or two at Lefty's. Soft spoken but interested in all, he will be missed.

Dear Sandra, Jackie and Family . . . We are so very saddened to hear of the news of Peters passing. Peter was a popular figure in our family and our dad, Ivan Langille, spoke very highly of him. They spent much time together and were great friends. We extend to you and your family, our deepest condolences at such a sad and difficult time. Please know you are in our hearts and prayers . . . Most sincerely, Elsie Langille and the Langille Family

I had the privledge of having Peter as a friend ,he was always willing to help out our hockey teams never to lets us down if we needed him, Peter was always willing to help ,Peter would always be the last one to leave the rink as Mike was always the last one out of the dressing room ,so that always gave me time to speak with him ,he was one of the most soft spoken gentleman I have ever met, never to judge people or speak ill of them ,when the Bay Ducks won the 2006 Atlantic Championship in P.E.I. Peter was the first one to offer his home for all the player to celebrate as we where on our way home from the Island ,Peter and Sandra where the greatest hockey parents I ever had the priveldge of knowing never complaining but always ready to help.
Thanks you from all of the staff and players of the TASA and Bay Ducks teams over the years you will be sadly missed.

I will truly miss you and your friendship
