82, of Boutiliers Point, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2020 in the QEII Health Sciences Center, Halifax. Born in Fox Point he was the son of the late Alvin and Retha (Jennings) Dorey. Survived by his wife Mona (Boutilier); sons, Charles (Bonnie), Windsor Road; Kenneth (Rita), Harrietsfield; daughters, Margaret Hazelden (David) Dobson, Boutiliers Point; Linda (Victor) Schwartz, Hubbards; brother, Cyril (Erika), Toronto; daughter-in-law, Brenda; grandchildren, David, Wanda Lee, Jason, Kelly, Jennifer, Elizabeth and Jim; 9 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his son, Robert, brother, Sinclair and a brother Ernest in infancy. In keeping with Ralph’s wishes there will be no services. The family would like to make a special thank you to Dr. Cheryl Murphy, Nurse Sarah , the palliative care team on 7A at the VG as well as Dr. Reza Mehrpooya and Kathy.Online condolences can be made to

Dear Mona and family. Sorry to hear of Ralph's passing. He always had a big smile and a few words when I met him on my walks. He will certainly be missed by his family and friends. Remember all the happy memories, as you go through this sad time in your lives.

Ernie and I send our condolences to Mona and
Ralph's entire family. Ralph at one time lived at our home following the death of his mother and we developed a deep relationship. I will miss him dearly. May he REST IN PEACE.
