On January 13, 2022 Upper Tantallon, lost a proud Ford staple within the community. Robert "Bob" George Topp, born January 5, 1945, was raised, lived and died near his homestead. Bob was predeceased by his parents George and Marie (Lambert) Topp, of Halifax/Upper Tantallon. Bob leaves behind two brothers Ronald Topp of Bridgewater and Lawrence Topp, as well as many extended family members and friends. A proud Ford mechanic dedicating his career for over 40 years on Fords with Wood Motors Ford, now known as Steel Lincoln Ford. If you were not privileged to know Bob, you will miss the 1981 two-tone Ford truck in the community! There will be no irony lost to his dedication with FORD, knowing his exit in this world being Found On Rear Driveway. When Bob was not working on a Ford, he enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting and of course a refreshment and the enjoyment of spending time with good friends. Bob was recently widowed by his wife, Theresa “Janice” Topp of 52 years, to whom he dedicated his life as her caregiver in her remaining years. Bob was and will be remembered as a dedicated neighbour, respected friend and will be missed by anyone who had the pleasure of being connected to him.
