Obituary for Stephen Lawrence Watt

Stephen Lawrence Watt

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Stephen (Steve) Lawrence Watt age 62. He is survived by his wife Vicki Parsons-Watt, son Dylan Watt, daughter Caitlin Jane Parsons (Maui Klucker) and granddaughter Luanna Klucker-Parsons. His mother Marguerita Watt and his sister Linda Overholt (Todd Overholt) and niece and Nephew Cassandra and Alexander of Vineland Ontario. Sister in Law, Lara Parsons, niece and nephew Lila and Silas Hume. Brother in law, Stephen Parsons (Kelly-Jean) and niece and nephew Lyndsay and Cole Parsons. Mother in law Judy Parsons (Bill Drane). He is predeceased by his father Lawrence Watt and brother in law Bradford Parsons. Steve grew up in Grimsby, Ontario. He spoke fondly of growing up close to the water and spent a lifetime searching to be close to it again. He moved to Alberta around the age of 17 and spent most of his life working in Oil and Gas. Steve was a loving and proud father who enjoyed being at the lake with his family, boating, cooking, bbqing, riding his motor bike, researching and building wood projects, home and trailer projects and grooving to Pink Floyd. He recently moved to Chester, Nova Scotia where he was beginning to relish in his semi-retired life. Steve wasn’t a man of many words but he spoke loudly in the way he listened. Steve was the ambassador of the perfect campfire. We will all think of him as we look to the night sky and skip stones on the water.
