On the 24th day of April 2021 at Victoria General hospital in Halifax Nova Scotia, bathing in sun and serenaded by birdsong, the world lost 67 year old force of nature, Susan Marcella Lemoine.
Susan Marcella Lemoine (nee Lalonde) Was born May 24th 1953 in Toronto Canada to Adeline MacDonald and the late John Francis Lalonde, she is predeceased by father John Francis Lalonde, step-father Angus MacDonald, and brother-in-law Les Banks. Susan is mourned by mother Adeline MacDonald, daughter Tammy Dorman (George), son-in-law, Darrell Cole, granddaughter Jessica Lemoine (Colyer), sister Elaine Banks (the late Les Banks) and her own son Kevin Banks, sister Nancy Studley (Barry Sr.) and her own children Barry Studley Jr. Jason Studley and Michelle Studley, brother Trevor MacDonald (Michelle) and his own children Adam MacDonald and Emily MacDonald, step-children David Hill (Amy) Michael Lemoine and Jennifer Lemoine, and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Susan: you were a cool seabreeze to those lucky enough to be loved by you, and a hurricane against those who crossed us. Even on the warmest, clearest days, we hear your laugh in the wind and feel your touch in the sunbeams’ warmth. A public celebration of life will be organized at a time when all those who wish to honour her memory will be able to safely attend, in the mean time her family asks anyone who wishes to honour her memory with charity make a donation in her memory to the Lung Association of Canada.
