Tina M Jones Riley

63, It is with extreme heartbreak and sadness that we announce the sudden death of Tina on Wednesday November 8, 2023. She will be missed by all who knew her! She was a loving wife, mother, and an amazing grandmother. Tina was caring, soft hearted, thoughtful, and easy going.

Survived by her father, Harold Conrad; brother, Joey (Michelle) Conrad, Sackville and predeceased by her mother, Bev (Cater) Conrad. Also Survived by her husband, Steven Riley of Glen Haven, they were a match that met later in life but were each others light of life. Her kids, Brian (Lisa) Jones; Andrew Jones, both of Darthmouth; Josh Riley, Chester; Maggie Riley (Grant) and Keri Riley (Josh), both of Glen Haven; she was a wonderful grandmother to Shay, Kyliee, Chelsea, Hannah, Lucas, Katie, and Jaxson.

Tina recently retired from the History Department of Dalhousie, where she spent 44 years working. She loved and looked forward to her coffee and lunch dates that she had with all the retired FASS Ladies. Tina received the Rosemary Gill Award from Dalhousie. Tina spent endless time with the boys at the rink and baseball fields. She loved siting and listening to the sound of Joeys River.

The time she spent at the lake through the summer months, camping, cooking, and baking were some of the highlights of how she enjoyed her time. Famous for her chocolate chip cookies to all the kids in the neighborhood when her boys were younger. She was a wonderful cook who could make anything taste good. She would always have something baked for the grandkids when they came after school. She had a great green thumb and loved doing it. Her soft gentle way about her made the birds and chipmunks come to her as she called for them. As per Tinas wishes a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Online condolences can be made to
