Dear Higgins Family,

I had the pleasure of working with Gary for thirty years and during that time found him to be a true gentleman and excellent police officer. He was truly a great role model for younger officers learning the ropes and he always made time to listen to anyone going through hard times and offer sound advice. He will be greatly missed by many.

Higgins family, my mom was Edith (Bonnell) Crews. I think her and Aunt Vi were cousins.
Very sorry to read about your loss. That is was sudden probably made it more of a shock.
Trust that the Lord will send a Comforter in your time of need.
I never met him personally, but from what I have heard and read he was a fine man.
His work here on earth is done, now he is called to a higher service.
