87, of Upper Tantallon passed away on Thursday November 22, 2018 at home. Born in Stephenville, Newfoundland he was the son of the late John and Eliza (Oldford) Martin. Survived by his sons, Jeff and Colin, both of Calgary; Craig Tantallon; daughters, Denise, Dartmouth; Twila Tuffs, Halifax; sisters, Lorraine (Melvin) Anderson of Calgary, Melba and Judy (Bill) Lafitte both of Newfoundland; grandchildren, David, Ryan, Nichole, all of Halifax; 2 great grandchildren; Predeceased by his wife Nevilia (Boutilier); sons, Hal and Paul in infancy; sister, Gwen Holleman. The family will receive visitors 4-7 p.m. Sunday, December 2nd in the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy’s Cove Road, Upper Tantallon. A Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday December 3rd in St. Margaret's Anglican Church, Tantallon, Rev. Brieanna Andrews officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
