Ariel Jean Thompson
of Glen Haven, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 26, 2018 at the age of 85 years. Survived by her husband Charlie; son, Kevin (Sheila); daughter, Cheryl (John); granddaughter, Kalie (Marco); grandson, Scott (Martina). She is predeceased by her parents Annie and Andrew Sanderson; infant daughter, Diane Marie; brother, Keith (Audrey). Ariel was a graduate of the VG School of Nursing class of 1955; she took great pride in her nursing career, being a compassionate bedside nurse. She was also a member of the Whitecaps. Many thanks to her caregiver, Janet Fralick, the Palliative Care Service and Dr. Quackenbush. The family will receive visitors 3:30 – 6:30 p.m Wednesday, November 28th and funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday November 29th both in the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy’s Cove Road, Upper Tantallon. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to charity of choice. Online condolences can be made to www.rawalker.ca
