Condolence: I just read yesterday of Doug's passing. My deepest condolences for your loss. I still have very vivid and fond memories of Doug coming to stay with us in Edmonton in what must have been 1965 or 66. Doug was such a kind and happy person. When Doug was visiting he took the time to teach me how to ride a 2 wheel bike. I can still see Doug standing in the field at Crestwood Elementary teaching, smiling and cheering me on. Doug was a good man.

Condolence: Valerie,
It has been years since we have been together, however, I still hold dear memories of time spent with you and the other members of the Red Cross group at Sackville High School.
Back then you introduced me to your wonderful parents and some of the members of your family.
I remember when you lost your sister. I have never forgotten her.
Please accept my sympathy on the loss of your brother.

Condolence: My God Tony I just read on line of Doug's passing. It has been some months back maybe more since I made one of my calls to him. He has been always on my mind to give him another call but life seems to get in the way. When Bob and I had visited him a while back we brought him some garlic pepperoni and chips of course. He later on one of our calls asked what kind of pepperoni it was because he liked it better than the plain. I bought some more of the garlic pepperoni and placed it in the freezer with the intent on visiting again. I can only imagine what Doug would have said about that stiff pepperoni. We had good talks some lengthy. Oh I am so saddened by this news. Then Bubba so smart of a dog who knew what was to come and wanted to be there waiting for Doug and now with "Janet" as well who I often think about. Oh the fun we all use to have. They will be in our hearts forever and I expect to see them again on the other side.

God Bless them all as well as you and your daughters Tony. Our Deepest Condolences to you and all of Doug's family. oxo
